Version 1.6.0
Version history and semantic SEO infrastructure
Mietnebenkostenchecker now ships a public changelog. Every version number comes from a single central data source. Additionally, entity-based internal linking, automatic sitemap generation with image validation and a build-time SEO audit were introduced.
- Public changelog – All published releases are listed at /changelog with date, category and description – in German, English and Arabic. /en/changelog
- Entity and cluster system – Service-charge terminology is modelled as entities and automatically links knowledge articles, guides, calculators and city pages. /wissen
- Automatic sitemaps and build audit – Sitemap index with partial sitemaps, lastmod from version history, image sitemap with HTTP checks and an SEO audit that reports dead links and missing ALT attributes during build.
- Software version separated from content dates – A deployment no longer changes the last-updated date of individual pages. Content dates come from the content source only.
Version 1.5.0
Arabic language version with RTL
The platform is fully available in Arabic: RTL layout, translated core areas including dashboard and legal pages, and Arabic SEO with hreflang, JSON-LD and multilingual sitemaps.
- Arabic as third language – Dedicated /ar/ locale with right-to-left layout and translations for the central user areas.
- Multilingual SEO infrastructure – hreflang clusters (de/en/ar/x-default), localized JSON-LD data and sitemaps for all language versions.
Version 1.4.0

Version 1.1.0
Comparison logic, security and analysis quality
The AI analysis was sharpened: extended OCR detection of German number formats, materiality thresholds against trivial findings, precise deadline checks under § 556 (3) BGB backed by automated tests, correct numeric comparison and a tamper-proof audit log.
- More robust analysis – Detection of typical OCR errors for €, m³ and kWh, materiality thresholds for rounding differences and clearly named document results with a score explanation.
- Deadline check and numeric comparison fixed – The twelve-month deadline under § 556 (3) BGB is computed from the end of the billing period; numeric comparisons evaluate amounts reliably. Unit and regression tests cover both.
- Audit log and database hardening – Tamper-proof audit logging via hash chain and revoked public rights on security-critical database functions.
Version 1.0.0
Payments go live
Payment processing runs in live mode: real Stripe products, webhook processing with an admin audit view and corrected receipts. A feedback email after the first analysis was added as well.
- Stripe in live mode – Live products for Standard and Package plans; test mode and test banners removed.
- Webhooks and payment audit – Stripe webhooks store payment states with an audit trail; failed events can be reprocessed in the admin area.
- Correct receipts – Receipts list only the features actually included in the respective plan.
- Feedback email after the first analysis – Users receive a feedback invitation after a successful analysis; the feedback link lives in the dashboard.
Version 0.4.0
Credit system, payments and comparison PDF
Introduction of the credit system with Stripe payments, free-plan limits, payment verification, welcome emails and the comparison PDF export.
- Credits and Stripe payments – Credit balance billed per analysis, payment endpoint, verification and customer portal.
- Free plan with paywall – Free analyses show the score while details remain greyed out until upgrade.
- Comparison PDF and email infrastructure – Side-by-side comparison with PDF export, plus email queue and German welcome/auth emails.
Version 0.3.0
Batch analysis of multiple documents
Several statements can be uploaded and analysed in sequence; the results view uses real database values.
- Multiple documents in one run – Sequential batch analysis of several uploaded documents.
- Results from the database – The results view renders real analysis results instead of placeholders.
Version 0.2.0
